Meet the Team

My wife, twin children, and I moved to Westcliffe, Colorado in 2016. We built our home ourselves and rapidly became involved in our very small, but lively community. Shortly thereafter, our two older sons moved to the area and my in-laws were soon to follow. We enjoy a night sky littered with innumerable stars and the close-knit fellowship of our tiny community.

My previous job was as Director of Emergency Medical Services. Our organization served the majority of Custer County, some 634 square miles. It was my distinct pleasure and honor to render aid in times of need to my neighbors, friends, and family in this community.

I am a sucker for a babbling trout stream. A Japanese style fly rod in my hand, I can spend an entire day wading, casting, and occasionally hooking a nearby tree, justifying the time to myself with the time-honored fisherman’s mantra, “Just one more cast.” My wife is always gracious about my foolishness…thankfully.

I also have a for passion service. When someone needs help, I am moved to assist in any way I can. Whether through emergency services, my involvement with the Gardner Valley Charter School, church, or just lending an ear, I enjoy helping people.

My guiding principle is service through personal relationships.
