Originally from Northern California, Matt moved to Colorado in 1995, drawn by the pull of the mountains and a laid-back lifestyle. He and his wife, Amy, have three grown children—one of whom still makes occasional surprise visits home from college, usually to raid the fridge. They also share their home with two lovable Golden Retrievers who are fully convinced they’re in charge. Whether it’s grilling in the backyard, spontaneous weekend get-togethers, or simply enjoying time with family, Matt is happiest when surrounded by his favorite people—and pups.

Work Experience

With more than 25 years in the auto industry, Matt developed a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for helping others. Guided by the principle, “treat others how you want to be treated,” he brought that same mindset into the insurance world.

Now, as an insurance agent, he’s focused on making the process simple and stress-free. His goal is to ensure every client has a positive experience and feels empowered to make confident decisions about their coverage.

Hobbies

Matt finds a deep sense of freedom in the mountains—whether it’s 4-wheeling across Colorado or riding motorcycle trails in Central Oregon, the Cascades in Washington, or Stanley, Idaho. For him, the outdoors is where life feels most vivid.

He and Amy also share a passion for cruising—it’s their favorite way to unwind, reconnect, and explore the world one port at a time.
