Early Life

I am a Colorado native–born and raised in Highlands Ranch. I have spent the majority of my life here in Colorado. However, after obtaining my Bachelors of Science at MSU Denver, I moved to Springfield, Missouri to obtain my Masters of Science in Nutritional Diagnostics. After a few years away from Colorado, I gained a new appreciation for the mountains, family that reside in the state, and the lack of humidity. Since graduating, my dog, Bella, and I have settled down in Downtown Littleton.

Work Experience

My career thus far has been focused on serving others through my passion of nutrition by assisting people in utilizing the power of nutrition by working as a Clinical Dietitian. I have walked alongside a variety of people with unique nutritional struggles to overcome, but found the most rewarding to be working at Children’s Hospital Colorado with adolescents diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and PCOS. With the current state of our healthcare system, I have taken the opportunity to adjust my efforts to serve others in different capacities by entering the field of insurance. I am enthused to work for a company who values the principals of learning, teaching, growing, and serving others.

Hobbies

I enjoy several activities that Colorado has to offer including golfing, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, and bike riding. I love food, not only because of my education and experience using it to fuel and nourish the body properly, but because it helps bring people together. I find joy in not following recipes in the kitchen and seeing where my creativity can take a dish! Nutrition tip: adding protein in the form of peanut butter to ice cream makes it a balanced snack, right?
